The Tommy-Weisbecker-Haus has existed as a self-goverened residentince in Berlin-Kreuzberg since 1973. Adolescents and young adults are given the opportunity to live there. Also young people who ran away from home are welcome.
Since 1990, the well-known Café ‘Linie 1’ is located in the building where concerts often take place. Rage Against The Machine and Chumbawamba were also guests among others. Since 1994, you can find the Hemp Museum in the Tommy Weisbecker House, which provides information about the history of the plant. The large-scale paintings and graffiti on the walls of the house are definitely worth a look.
